One of the most wonderful characteristics of watercolour is its immediacy.
Fantastic results that capture the essence of our subject quickly, simply and without fuss or fancy technique are typical of watercolour!

This course is pure paint-along fun!

No theory, no complicated techniques, simply join me for 3 Zoom Sessions to tackle a wide range of subjects requested by you!

We may start with a loose sketch or possibly no sketch, just diving into this expressive medium to see what we can achieve.

This is a course where we leave all expectation of end results at the door and plunge in to the fun an adventurous side of watercolour - ironically this usually leads to better end results anyway, hah!

I guarantee you will surprise yourself at least a few times!!

We'll approach this course as if we were sketching from life, with the same excitement and energy of plein air painting. In doing so we will cover a huge amount of very useful information, which can easily be transferred to working from life or plein air.

This course is absolutely suitable for any and all experience levels!

THE COURSE at a Glance

The premise of this course is very simple!

Join me for three paint-along Zoom sessions with minimal equipment.

We will work through a selection of reference photos; sometimes starting with a quick loose sketch done on the spot, other times diving straight in with paint.

I will encourage you to
send in one or two photos you would like to see me tackle.
Please send your own or photos from copyright free sites - I will send out a list of these sites.

I may well receive far too many photos to possibly attempt in 3 sessions. If so, the selection will be made first come, first served, but also what is most suitable.

However, I will do my best to choose an extremely broad range of subjects, including ones which appear tricky so we can look at how to simplify!

It's going to be such a fun course, I really hope you will join me!!

Don't forget, if you cannot attend live you will receive a re-watch link, and have access to stream or download the Full HD Versions, for life.

(This represents by far the best value if you are interested in one, or all of my current Zoom courses)
