Getting to Grips with Colour - 2 day course
Oils & Acrylics. (Please inquire for watercolour) All abilities
Learn to mix any colour & apply this to paintings! Over two days we can go really deep into this often tricky area of painting.
A nice balance of theory, exercises, practical application, and of course lots of painting! This 2 day course is designed to take all the guess work out of colour mixing.
Trust me this will not be two days of dull colour theory. I aim to make colour mixing accessible, exciting, fun and highly practical!
Amongst other things we will look:

how to mix any colour you want

creating colour schemes and limited palettes

how to apply all this to an actual painting

£15 extra for materials if needed

Max. 12 students with plenty of one on one time
Materials needed: Just your usual painting gear and colours you feel comfortable with. A selection of boards, canvas or paper depending on your preference. Reference photos all though I have a large slection for student to use also.

Plenty of one on one tuition. We can really focus in on the individual needs of each student, and what they are hoping to achieve.
I encourage people to paint whatever subject they like, all though will advise on most suitable for particular workshops. Bring your own photos or I can provide a wide selection of choices.
There is at least one demonstration to illustrate the main points of the workshop in action.
