Figures in a Setting

Figures on a beach, street scenes to landscapes and more...we will focus on figures that are not necessarily the biggest part of the painting, but they are there...
Many people shy away from putting figures in their paintings, but with some simple tricks and tips you'll be painting figures in no time!
They add scale, a sense of place and a story and make a great addition to so many paintings.
Amongst the usual painting principles we will look at:

£10 extra for materials if needed

Small group of 8 students
Materials needed: Just your usual painting gear and colours you feel comfortable with. A selection of boards, canvas or paper depending on your preference.

Friendly but productive and focused atmosphere.
Plenty of one on one tuition. We can really focus in on the individual needs of each student, and what they are hoping to achieve.
There will the odd quick demo to illustrate some good basics. Then during one on one time we can look at any specifics that will benefit each individual student.
PLEASE NOTE:
These days are not tutored to the same extent as other workshops as I am painting myself...however I am on hand always and will be wandering around to give advice and tuition as needed.
