Join me to explore the real potential and excitement of this medium across a broad range of subjects and approaches

This course is absolutely suitable for any and all experience levels!

THE COURSE at a Glance

Over the course of three paint-along Zoom sessions, you will learn a range of techniques and approaches to this medium.

Acrylic painting, whilst founded in the usual principles,
has a great freedom to it.

There are very few limitations, and with the right pointers and guidance to get the best out of the medium, it is extremely forgiving. Students are always pleasantly surprised at what can be achieved with this paint!

For those who don't know them, acrylics are often misunderstood as being crude, garish and hard to work with. This is very far from the truth; they can be subtle, refined and extremely easy to work with.

There are of course potential pitfalls and issues, but once you know these they are
easily bypassed to get you on the track to having creative fun with great results...whatever your current experience level.

We will be exploring everything from working watery to thick; layering and refined work through to bold expressive work, plus much more!

This course will be an excellent intro to painters new to acrylics, or as a recap for anyone a little out of practice, but equally suited to experienced acrylic users wishing to get more out of the medium and take their painting to the next level!
